These ERA Standard side hung friction stays are designed for casement windows and have a 17mm stack height. Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel to deliver reliable, long-lasting performance in both residential and commercial settings, their construction includes a pointed sash arm and nylon end cap to ensure good gasket compression and smooth sash engagement. They also incorporate a friction adjustment mechanism so the window can stay open at the desired position without additional stays or props.
Suitable for various window designs including UPVC, aluminium, and timber frames, they are tested in accordance with BS EN 13126-6:2008 and BS 6375-1:2009 for durability and performance, whilst also meeting the corrosion resistance requirements of BS EN 1670 Grade 4.
