FrameFit is a gap fill solution that fits to doors, frames and the bottom of the existing door leaf's to reduce gap sizes to meet current fire door regulations. Fire door Inspectors will report a fire door as Non-Compliant with gaps of over 4mm between the frame and leaf. On the bottom of a fire door, gaps of over 8mm (Fire Only Door) and gaps of over 3mm (Fire & Smoke Doors) will also be reported as Non-Compliant.
This Low Modulas (LM) seal is for use as gap filling when intumescent is already present in the door edge or is used along with the separately available HE (High Expansion) seal when there is frame fitted intumescent or no intumescent present.
It is available in a choice sizes to suit FD30 or FD60 fire doors, comes supplied on a 5.2 metre roll and is fully tested and compliant to BS 476 Part 22 & BS EN 1634-1.
