Style

This Fuhr 833 auto locking gearbox has a 35mm or 45mm backset with 92mm centres. It is a split spindle centre case with a 220mm case height and a 53mm or 63mm case width.

It is designed for use with the automatic locking 833 multipoint system and is to be used with a lever and fixed pad handle set.


Handing
The latch can be reversed by locating the Allen screw on the side of the lockcase in line with the latch. Remove the screw, pull out and reverse the latch, then refit the Allen screw.

Operation
Closing the door automatically engages the latch bolts. To open from outside turn the key to retract the locking points; from inside use the lever handle to retract the locking points. The centre deadbolt is locked/unlocked by turning the key.
