Featuring a tungsten carbide tipped cutting end, it is ideal for use with stationary machines when drilling hardened steel, cast iron, bronze alloys and manganese alloyed steel.
The C2 carbide tip is capable of drilling hardened material up to 50 Rockwell C and is four-facet ground to support accurate centring with reduced drilling pressure. The drill bit body is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel and hardened to 56 Rockwell C, providing a strong and durable construction for demanding drilling work. Coolant should be used when drilling with TCT twist drill bits to help extend working life.
