LORIENT Door Seal 2100mm x 4mm Fire Smoke & Acoustic (Finesse)

The Lorient Finesse™ seal is a combined intumescent fire, smoke and acoustic seal designed to provide high-performance perimeter protection for fire-rated door assemblies. Manufactured using PVC-encased sodium silicate with flexible translucent elastomeric fins, the seals expand when exposed to elevated temperatures to help restrict the passage of fire and hot gases, while the flexible fins provide a continuous barrier against ambient-temperature smoke and sound. Each seal measures 2100mm x 4mm and is available in 15mm or 20mm widths, allowing the appropriate seal to be selected according to the fire door specification and required performance.

Designed for use on single and double leaf doors, the Finesse™ profile combines fire, smoke, acoustic and thermal containment performance within a discreet, low-friction design that helps maintain smooth door operation. The clear fins provide an unobtrusive appearance suitable for architectural and higher-specification installations, while heavy-duty self-adhesive backing assists with straightforward installation into a correctly sized groove. The range has been fire tested to BS 476-20/22 and BS EN 1634-1, smoke tested to BS 476-31.1 and acoustically tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2, with durability testing to 100,000 cycles and Certifire certification under CF330 and CF341.
