LORIENT Door Seal 2100mm x 4mm Fire Smoke & Acoustic (TS)

The Lorient TS Fire, Smoke & Acoustic Seals are high-performance intumescent seals designed to provide combined protection against fire, smoke and sound leakage around fire-resisting door assemblies. The range comprises the LP1004TS, LP1504TS and LP2004TS, measuring 10mm, 15mm and 20mm wide respectively, with each 2100mm long seal incorporating double flexible elastomeric fins. Manufactured from PVC-encased sodium silicate, the seals are designed for nominal door gaps of approximately 3-4mm to fit within the door edge or frame and are suitable for use on both single and double leaf doors. Heavy-duty self-adhesive backing assists installation into a suitably routed groove and the double-fin construction provides effective smoke and acoustic sealing while maintaining low frictional resistance for smooth door operation.

Designed for use within 30 and 60 minute fire door applications when installed as part of an appropriately tested door assembly, the TS seals have been tested for fire performance to BS 476-22 and BS EN 1634-1, smoke leakage to BS 476-31.1 and acoustic performance to BS EN ISO 10140-2. They have also undergone durability testing to 100,000 operating cycles and carry Certifire certification under CF330 and CF341.
